Following the successful reintroduction of a Clubmans event running alongside the Inter-Club event in March 2025 we will again run a dual permitted event in 2026.

The Clubmans Event is ideal for those wishing to reduce the pressure on navigators and will be a good event for those wishing to start daytime competitive regularity rallying the Clubmans Event will have had straight forward navigation instructions that will not require plotting on the map, unlike the Inter Club Event which will have the usual combination of instructions to plot on the map.

Our start / finish venue will again be the Crewe Vagrants Sports Club, Newcastle Rd, Nantwich CW5 7EP. This is less than a mile off the A500 just to the south of Nantwich.

We hope to be able to confirm that scrutineering on the Friday evening (March 6th) and signing on will again be at Reaseheath College, Nantwich.

For 2026 we are welcoming Mike Phillips as our Entries Secretary. Although Steve Skepper has retired from that role he will still be involved in planning some of the navigation aspects for the Inter-Club event.

The team promise our usual non-car damaging event with a schedule allowing time to enjoy the rest halts for coffee, lunch and tea. The navigation instructions will all be straight forward, no plot and bash, and the special tests, free flowing. The 150 mile route will almost be entirely within Cheshire and includes 10 special tests.

There will be the customary Cheshire Cheese for the finishers after they have concluded a good day's motorsport followed with the usual post event supper and awards presentation.

The 'entries open' date will be in very early January. Watch this space for updates on that and other event news.
